Oversee IT operations by supervising IT systems and staff. Develop, manage, and track the IT department's budget. Assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics / needs. Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information. As a Senior Technical Engineer, my main role within the organisation was to maintain and monitor computer systems and networks. This consisted of assessing hardware, software and network related issues and to provide a solution by performing on-site / remote troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluations and routine inspections on equipment and components covered under a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
As a Field Services Engineer, my main role was to visit company sites in order to troubleshoot and resolve server, network and end user issues. This consistded of assessing hardware, software and network related issues and to provide a solution by performing on-site / remote troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluations and routine inspections on equipment and components covered under a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
I worked as a freelance Full Stack Developer. My main work was front-end and back-end development. I incorporated many different skills to create services for my clients. Apart from the technical side of the job, I marketed my services to potential customers. This gave me a greater insight into business strategy.
